Hi peeps,

Just picked up my WRX today and i have to say i'm well pleased, the only thing though is when i put my foot down it goes fine then suddenly stops and looses all power, upto about 5k is fine then it stops, come off the gas, fine again, back on the power loss of power again etc,

Is this fuel cut...!!!

The car is a 1993 Import running a mongoose system and de-cat and HKS Induction, and apparntly it is running standard boost....???

Is all this lovely cold weather making my scoob boost to the fuel cut...!!!

Any advice mucho aprricitaed...

Cheers,

John.

Get a boost gauge so you can see what your boost is doing..

Deffo sounds like fuel cut mate!!
A boost gauge will confirm it..
IIRC fuel cut on your car is approx 1bar roughly 14psi, this boost could easily be produced with your mods giving the Fuel Cut.
