Hi,

Im going to TRY and explain this,,,,, I have a Valve above the internal heating fan that has mysteriously broken after I let Scoobysports work on my car(never again). Now this valve is to stop air coming in from the outside. I thought that this wouldn't be a problem (in the summer)but its winter now. So what I need is a scrap car or a car that someone is using for spares. Im sure you wouldn't need the valve im after.

Please help a cold man.

THanks

Slag man

You have not shown your identity and I have no idea who you are or which part you are refering to, or how you think we may have broken it.

If you think that something we did caused it to break, I would like the oppurtunity of reviewing what was done and replacing the part if we were at fault.

Perhaps you could call me or mail me.

I know what you mean Steve

I had Parcel Force ring me up the day threatening to press charges against me for sending octane booster through the post. It had leaked in their sorting office and when they found out it was imflammable they had shut the sorting office until it was cleaned up.

We have never even sent it by TNT.

It turned out, it was NF, which we don't even sell They say Scooby(?) on the label and rang us. Great

I'm sure Slagman does mean us, I just wish people would call me up if they think we've done something wrong. Reading his post again, it sounds like its part of the actually fan casing.

You need to remove most of the dash to get to it, so I can't wait to find out what job we did on the car to actually get near it!!

Surely its only fair, and right, to contact the supplier / servicing company first if you feel that there has been a problem with the service or goods which you have received.

Publicly posting an a BBS should be a last resort.

Many people dedicate a lot of their time to helping people on this, and other, bulletin boards, and should be respected for it. They don't have to do it, after all.

To post publicly on here without giving them the chance to sort the problem out just ain't fair.

If this is a genuine misunderstanding, please disregard ~ its not my intention to offend.

However, please think carefully before you type comments of this nature.

Reputations that have been built from bloody hard work, and always doing your level best for the customer, can so easily be damaged by a careless or mischievous post.

Sometimes even the best get it wrong ~ but at least give them the chance to put it right before posting.

Why would you say I was implying I would of said I was a bit more blatant than that. And to answer your question I have had first hand experience with scoobysports, hence my opinion at the top.

Yes, you were more blatant than that.

But you said "it's not fair on Pete.......", correct,it isn't, so don't post threads slagging people/business's off.

Your user name sums you up......................
