Dyno's of my mild mannered Wagon:

Not bad for a 9 year old Bus. And torque:

Can you see a pattern forming around 4K? It's 'the valley of death' and you can see why it's so called - here's the boost graph showing the spool-ups of Turbos 1 & 2:

Time to start spending some money

Question

But how do you eliminate the VoD?
Is it just software, or is something intensely mechanical designed in?

That is an Impres-sive VOD There have been a couple of rumoured tweaks that may help, but getting rid of it totally is pretty tough.

Come join in the fun on the B4 list on yahoo groups. Lots of TTs of all shapes and quite, er, a few modding types about

Those numbers aren't bad btw, almost stock power after this long...not bad at all. Is it std?

On the B4 list! - (Gary Handa)

It's completely standard apart from a Scoobyports back-box, but been thinking about exhausts - been reccomended keeping the cat on the primary turbo, but losing the secondary combined one.
After that I reckon an induction kit and a taller 5th gear and I'm sorted - must remember I bought it for going down the shops...

Is that the same gary handa that used to frequent uk.rec.audio.car? I suspect so with the reference to the GTI! That was way before I got a scooby though... are you still into the ICE scene?

Good one Gary - you may want to look at your BOV - you may have already heard about the lack of rigidity of the OE one.

Not a bad shopping trolley you have there
