Idle problem

Faulty O2 Sensor would be my guess.
If not then possibly the MAF which can also throw up these symptoms.
Edited as I just read the fact that you don't get any hunting, apologies.
This would then point towards the throttle position sensor.
Hopefully some of the more educated on this board will shed some light on it
Cheers

Before i start replacing this that and the other, any ideas.
Problem:
Base idle 5-600. Recently after driving for a short while(after warm up), base idle becomes 1k.
Turn off leave for about 1min, restart, base idle 5-600.
I don't get any hunting.
