Cool

I have a Tec2 in my MY00 and it made a big difference, i fitted it to replace a Tec1, which in turn replaced a green 802. Get a Tec2, you wont regret it!

Question

Just had a look and as i suspected i've got a green v7 ae802 on my 00 turbo with decat dp,standard centre, mania rear, piperx air filter and a litle more boost .I have seen a couple of 801's for sale,do i put one of these in at £100 and is it ok with these very tame mods or do i put the tek 2,2.5 in.Is the difference really worth the £4-500 in price.Has anyone gone from 802 to 801 then to tek.

Please let me know.

Thanks Paul

Cool

I've just swapped my AE802 for an AE800 and it has made a noticable difference. The car feels much smoother and pulls with greater vigour all the way to the redline.
I suggest you get an 800 or an 801 and try it. If you still want more power, get your 802 Tek2'ed and sell the 800/801 for what you paid for it
