ECU error codes

hi, tried starting my car this morning and it wouldnt start. connected the black connectors and got two error codes (if ive done it correctly): 52 and 40
Does anyone know what this means?

I have never heard of code 40 - didn't think any had a zero in!
I think 52 is something connected with the post 98 immobiliser? Don't really know...
