MY99 with TEK2 and Scoobysport backbox has started to boost erratically. I saw a peak of 1.5 bar last night when giving it some serious right foot in fifth, and the gauge was fluctuating between 1bar and 1.3bar and i felt the occasional jerking associated with overboost. What could be causing this, i have cleaned, removed and pulsed the boost control solenoid and it seems to improve slightly oh! and the oil level is just below the top marker, it's just the high peaks are getting me worried.....so to the point..would a Dawes set to hold about 1.2bar sort these fluctuations out or is this caused by something else?
