After I eventually get a PPP fitted to my STi UK I think I get back the original exhaust. A mate of mine has a MY02 WRX and is interested in buying the Standard STi UK exhaust from me, but will it make any noticable difference to his car?

Absolutely none whatsoever. The backbox inlet pipe on both is very restricted, and basically both systems are the same (I have both lying in my garage).

Dave, It may be psychological but since fitting my STi7 BB onto my MY02 WRX it not only looks significantly better but it actually goes a lot better. A friend of mine did exactly the same and he also noticed a difference - there was a thread running recently where a number of other peeps also commented on the same thing. I dont know why and in theory it shouldnt but................ stranger things have happened.
