Hi Guys,
Probably a silly question... but I did an oil and filter change this evening and noticed that the power steering fluid is leaking (a little oil looks like loads I know). I don't think I will rush to get the seals replaced, but my question is.... I need to top it up, wondering if there is any particular spec of fluid to use, or just any old power steering fluid found in halfords. Ta anyone!

The spec for power steering fluid is the same as auto transmission fluid.

As some people have a problem with boiling the fluid I put Mobil Synthetic ATF in mine.

Halfords gasket sealent in the small blue capped squeezable container is excellent for repairing a poor seal on the power steering reservoir.
