MY01 ppp ecu chip

The idea is that the dealer sends back your existing chip - so you cant really just "plug one in"...
If your buying second hand - i'm not sure what the guy with the chip is doing as he wont be able to drive his car anymore!!
£1600inc fit at the dealer and it wont effect your warrenty. Well worth it IMHO.
If anyone claims you can "have theirs for £xxx" i'd be sure it was legit for the above reasons.

apart from a moral point of view and I don't condone buying nicked gear at all
but...who's gonna know if it's legit or not
if it works and the price is right...it's a steal (pun intended )

It's a piggyback board fitted to the original board in the ECU casing, and the originals were done on an exchange basis with a £1000 surcharge on the exchange units.
There were a number of ECU's bought in to start the original process, assuming you have been offered one, it may be one of these that has got out of the system.
Beware, you cannot tell from outside the ECU casing if it has the PPP board fitted - there should be a Prodrive sticker on the casing, but then anyone can knock up a Prodrive sticker.
Included in the kit should also be some bits of intercooler pipe, a new boost solenoid pipe with a different size restrictor in, and some exhaust bits......
