as above, can anyone tell me what this component does. It's a small silver box and has Ignition and Timing on the front.

Hi Paul, I had one of these units in my old EVO V.
It is a piggybck ECU that alters the fueling and timing on the car, I think it also removes boost limits and ups the standard boost. It seemed to work quite well.
I think they are c.£700 + vat new.
