A Unichip should be mapped specifically for your individual car.
Therefore in essense is a relative "empty vessel" till it is mapped.

As a result it will only ever be as good as the engineer doing the mapping.

If someone tries to fit one off the shelf , I suggest you may well have gone to the wrong sort of tuner.

In answer your question, no. There are two or three different Unichips for an Impreza. Speak to Storm or PowerStation, they'll be able to help.

A.P.S. include part programmed unichips in their tuning kits, which only need tidying up at a "tuner".

J.W. Racing do their stuff.

Thanks for the help chaps, I have just fitted a HKS fmic from JW racing and had a prova (japanese tuner)map blown for my ecu the result is 1.3 bar of boost. The car is much smoother in the lower rev range but when you get to 4500 all hell is let loose, next question should I get a knock link?
