Question

Hi all,

I want to increase my boost to around 1.2 (apparently it is safe to do this) on MY99 UK Turbo, could someone please help me out because I don't know where to start.

Thanks

Ryan

Just remember your fuel cut is 1.21 bar so you'll need to set it up carfully to ensure you don't hit that in the colder weather.

Thumbs up

MY 95 UK - full de-cat inc dp, K'n'N, superchip, just turned up the boost, 18psi in 4th & holds 19psi in 5th
I have been running 16.5 for over a year now with no problems at all...lets see how long it lasts with 18-19

edited to add - thats 1.31 bar for 19 psi....who says UK cars with superchip doesn't work

Shunty I have a 95 uk and my fuel cut hits at 1.05 bar. Does the chip make remove fuel cut?

Tell me more about the superchip

contigo - I must first tell you that I am not very technical with cars.....

IMO, don't go for superchip, go for a dawes, they weren't around when I got mine done (I don't think), otherwise I would have gone for one.
superchip does bypass the fuel cut but be careful....
I am happy with my setup, it's pretty quick now, but it's not for everyone. Get lots of advice first, I definetly wouldn't do this on a newer car!!

Dawes and a fuel cut lifter should do the trick. Be nice to Jamie and he'll even give you some other good mods to go with it. Just click on the banner that says J-W racing.

edit~superchip is just an overglorified boost controller that doesn't even alter the fueling of the car. The simplest mods can sometimes be the best.
