Question

I drive a Turbo MY00. Have already fitted a Scoobysport B.B and mid section. I have a K&N filter and wil be upgrading my TEK1 to a TEK2 in the next couple of weeks.
I too have booked the car in to have a Scoobysport downpipe fitted in a week (just before the TEK2), they have recommended I go for the 2.5". Is this the correct size or would the 3" be a better option?

Correct me if I am wrong, but Scoobysport are NOT able to sell these downpipes any longer.

Speak to the company that makes that downpipe, Haywood and Scott. They are just around the corner from Scoobysport, Ian is a TOP bloke.

Standard Hayward & Scott (previously marketed as ScoobySport products) centre section & backbox both use the standard 2.5" connectors. The downpipe is a 3" pipe which - as standard - tapers to 2.5" at the end to connect to the standard 2.5" centre.
So, yes, 2.5" is correct for you.

I'd check with ScoobySport that they can still do the supply & fitting - they have never been particularly good at communications at this sort of thing (people turning up with them not having the parts, etc.) and you may be disappointed. If this is the case, there are other places now available that can supply & fit.
