best bet is to shop around, TSL, Scoobymania etc.. i actually got my ferrodos cheap from a guy who upgraded... also check ur local motorfactor, alot of them can get very good prices too, there is nothing special about them any reputable supplier will source them for ya, for the record last time I checked the ferrodos were stg£150 I bought mine for 150 Euros, mintex are cheaper... hope this helps

Cheers

Had a butchers at scoobyworld.
They've got Mintex 1144s at £99 or Pagids at £54.

Are Pagids that much worse or just better value for money?

depends on final user, some peeps are very fussy with pads, IMHO they're fine if the stop me leaving the blackstuff LOL, mintex are generally rated higher, check out the sidc faq on brakes for more info on mintex also please try ur local motor factor its suprising the price diff between them and specialists

cheers

I aways found pagid fast road pads very good, they do make a mess of ya wheels though. Mintex are probably better if you are giving it a real thrashing, they work better when they are hot. They do seem to need a little warming up, so when you dump the clutch out of your garage in a rally style start, remember it will take a few more feet to stop from cold. (Avoids stuffin' it in next doors flowerbed).

Reckon I'm going to try the Pagids. And spend the rest of the money on wheel cleaner. Thanks for the posts.

Plenty more people rate the DS2500's which I also run, less dust, good grab when cold and grippy like a grippy thing for fast road use.
