As a service announcement to the ScoobyNet community, please check this out. IHI sales are being threatened by the proliferation of Taiwan made IHI imitation turbos. At my sales training, I was made aware of this and I am not surprised if some of these turbos have made their way to US shores.
For those of you who have moved on to Garretts, I'm afraid they have a bunch of Garrett imitation too. When I find my copy of the Garrett announcement brochure, I'll put it here.
