Has anybody had any experience with flamer kits?

The idea of having a car purposely spit flames out the back end close to the fuel tank is beyond me

Give it a wide berth mate is my opinion.

Why bother?? If you want flames do it properly and fit a decat and vent to atmos, you get bangs and pops then aswell

Well if you are really interested. Give these boys a call. Haven't done it myself and they do make a disclaimer saying they shouldn't be used on the road but....

I've seen it fitted to a Scooby(whose owner will remain anon!).Must say the flames are quite spectacular!

have a look in this thread here .. i know andy who fitted the panda and cossie kits, it dumps butane into the exhaust somehow to produce hoooj flames! mail me if interested.

I have a Sapphire Cossie with the flamer kit, and it kicks out 6 foot flames, and lights out the whole road.

We have fitted the flamer kit to the Scooby also, but the flames are not as visible, and wondered if anyone had any experience.

How much are these flamer kits, and are they easy to fit. I take it they void the warrenty?

I paid £85 for each Flamer Kit.

They are not that hard to fit, but will require a little welding to the rear box.

I appreciate that they are not for everyone, but can honestly say at night, they are the nuts, especially when people are flashing you to tell you your car is on fire.
