Ok some of you will already know this, but here is the current spec of my car.

my00 turbo
blitz induction
scoobysport downpipe
magnex centre
scoobysport backbox
tek2 (peaking at 1.2 bar and settling between 1.2 and 1.1)
running optimax

next on list

1 Uprated fuel pump(here waiting to go on)
2 Samco hoses(to help with extra psi)
3 JWR quickshift and gear ****(i know no power increase)
4 APS twin dump valve
5 AVO Coilover kit(i know no power increase)
6 Tim W's Up pipe

items 2 to 6 have been ordered, just waiting for production/delivery etc.

I suspect no power gains at all from them, except up pipe, just drive-ability.

In a month or two will be

7 APS high flow induction kit
8 APS FMIC
9 Re-map of tek 2 from Mr Banks i think.

Then hopefully
An uprated turbo.

I know theres alot of info there but what do you estimate i am running at at the moment in bhp and torque.

Then what do you think when 7 with 8 and 9 are complete.

I know uprated turbo could be anything but dont want too much lag, so it would be something that has a bit flow up the top end compared with td04.

Many thanks

Steven

edited to say missed the F out of quickshift.

dunno, but wouldnt bother getting tek3 till you have the turbo..

Could put a modified TD05 on? probably loads of lag compared to what your used to..

And you forgot to add ported headers (see if you can get some second hand and Ill do them for you then your car doesnt have to be off the road... would also make an afr meter, so you have some idea of fueling.. possibly also a knock link..

David I was also thinking of the knock link and afr (need to know whats going on in there)

Trout that 6hp explains the poor performance

David do you know where to get the secondhand headers from other than the For Sale Forum.

I dont know people will begin to think i have a drink problem

Definately up for one though

Oh and agree with remap after turbo(saves doing it twice) so i'll have to buy the turbo and the fmic at the same time.

Which turbo do you think would be best. Would like to run somewhere between 300 and 350, but with a good dose of torque from as low down as possible.

TD05....TD05!!!!

Hey what do I know...

Surely a straight inlet TD05 has less lag than my bent inlet TD05 and the lag is liveable with....

Very jealous.. I wish my wagon had half the mods

One day..

I might be interested, will they fit am MY96 though?

I am strapped for cash but basically when something need replacing I have been replacing with better...

Next service I do will be air filter so it is an option to get an induction kit.. I nearly bought an element in the group buy but fixed my bike instead so the Scooby is currently doing about 2miles a week rather than 700miles a week.. give it a few weeks when it is cold I'll start driving the car again and it will need a service then so if that coincides then great.

How much are we talking?

I heard York mentioned? travelled past last night, Derby to Whitby to see my Mum. So could collect etc...

Perhaps... got me thinking now

Ermm....not sure about them fitting yours, someone else willhave to confrim. I also have a used (4000 miles) itg panel filter.

Not sure on price for the hks and blitz, though nowhere near the original cost. You can have the ITG for £15.

Which way do you got to whitby - m1,m18,m62 to howden,a614 to driffield etc. Are you there now?

No in Derby I visited last night.. next planned visit is 3weeks time..

Use the M1, M18, A1, A64, A169...

ITG sounds good.. assuming it will fit..

You could go my way as well, prob more scenic.

Next time you going there email me and i will give you directions to meet up, assuming i have the aps by then. Or if you just want the ITG then no probs. Can post it if you like.

Email if interested.

Interested in the ITG panel I think as I cannot run to an induction kit..

Just need to get the funds released by the purse string holder..

Cheers

Lots of corners near where I hope to live....

....Steven - no problem helping you to 300 plus - mine had 346bhp at the last count - before uprated fuel pump, FMIC, slight mod on the turbo - and since then I have needed between 3-4% more fuel - mmmmmmmmmmm

Talking of fuel consumption

I have noticed I can travel from Derby to Malton about 100miles and then from Malton to Whitby about 30miles and use the same amount of fuel for both journeys!! when I take the Scooby that is.. motorcycle seems to not mind if I am at 5000rpm or 11000rpm fuel consumption wise.. 9pound to do 130miles is a refreshing change..

Motorway less interesting and less fuel consumption.

Would that be 100miles for 1st 1/4 of tank and then 30 miles for 2nd 1/4? It gets twisting after malton though.

Exactly that Steve..

I think that is why the petrol consumption people get varies so much.. the road seem to make a huge difference..

thought you would be needing a bit more than that to gain the extra 12 horses to go beyond 300.IMHO
