Right just been speaking with David at lunch (over a pint of course) and i have to agree with him on the following.

I will not be happy unless i get over 300bhp at Well Lane on 27/10/2002.
Well i will be dead chuffed if i get 300bhp+ (the + being the chuffed bit)

Whereas i think David secretly is hoping for a shed load more.

cold morning in october definatly

in the 290s would keep me very happy though especially as it only runs 16lbs of boost has 0 knock and runs very rich according to the deltadash and i have 18" wheels which apperently lose you 3 bhp over 17" wheels or 6bhp over 16" wheels

also i wont be going to expensive front mount bigger turbo etc.. so i am a very happy bunny

2 Samco hoses(to help with extra psi)
3 JWR quickshift and gear ****(i know no power increase)
4 APS twin dump valve (awaiting delivery)
5 AVO Coilover kit(i know no power increase)
6 Tim W's Up pipe (awaiting delivery)

P20 sounds like your engine is ending up quite like mine is except an exhaust housing worthy of your name.

Big thankyou to David for fitting the fuel pump, he did take some pictures as there is a difference between mine, the uprated one(obviously) and davids(older car), see new thread in drivetrain.

Strut brace..............when david stops laughing he will probably start laughing again reading this.

Lets just say i went with big smile and said "look at that" as David took the strut brace out of the car. "Looks very good, might get one" says David, praise indeed.

So whilst david is doing fuel pump i do the strut brace, whilst still in my work suit, come to put it on, fits on drivers side nicely and, oh......its crudely hovering over the washer bottle on the pasenger side.

Bllx they, forge that is, must have sent me the wrx one and not the classic, will have to have a word with Jamie who i ordered it from.

Lets just say it pissed on my bonfire

Steven,

you need to get a dump valve like mine - at track days they say - who's car is that that sounds like a cross between a jet plane and a WRC car - it chatters as I change gear -

You know you want to - and I can get one for you cheap, you tight Yorkshire farmer you

Thought it was funny myself, they are only human you know. Spoke with Jamie and he is sorting it. Definately for the WRX, its wider, so dont think it would have fit yours!

He did ask if you wanted one ordering as well though

Trout, see how i go with the aps DV when that comes, if i dont like it i will come and see you.
