Question

Can anyone give me an idea on the life expectancy of a turbo on my MY95 sti. I'm currently on 60k miles and don't have any problems but I'd like a rough idea based on other peoples experiences.

Regards in advance

Assuming that the turbo is used within its airflow capacity, ie not overboosting like mad, and it is supplied with clean air and good oil, sensible shut down procedure after hard driving, then there is no reason why the turbo should not last the lifetime of the engine. As long as they are not abused, they are usually very reliable, more so the early type which your MY95 should have.
