Hi, dont want to start a thread war but am changing the oil and filter on my99 today and wanted any advice.On my previous performance cars ive always used Mobil1,partly as I was able then to get it very cheap.
One scooby owner I spoke to said that I wouldnt get the benefits of fully syn if I wasnt gettin the engine temp hi enough,unless I was doing track days.
I know each person will have their own preference and money is not the issue here for me,I just want to know that ive put the best in to suit my car.Also I think my old Mobil1 is 15/50 but i have Castrol RS and thats10/60, what grade is shall i go for.

Yup good choice of oils out there, i personally run Mobil1 Motorsport 15w50 fully synth but some run the castrol 10w60 or the Motul 15w50, these seem to be the most popular choices.
