Driving along today getting frostbite in my fingertips from the aircon I had the following bizarre idea. How about running the output from the aircon not into the cabin but straight into the intercooler?
Surely all that nice cold air would do wonders on a hot muggy day - far more than a quick burst from a water spray?

...just an idea......

PS. I suppose any benefits would be outweighed by the losses in running the a/c compressor...

PPS. I know the aircon goes off on WOT - surely that could be worked around..

BUT you can fit water injection to the I/C, you can buy a FMIC (or both), you could put some methanol into the water tank for the water injection, or you could fit propane injection for much less money. There are lots of ways to reduce intake temps / knock ...
