hello there, you've probably checked this but has it got enough coolant!? Is there a leak has it all drained out?

I had the smallest leak you could imagine on my header tank causing my car to o/heat... make sure the car is bled completely as this can cause problems as well...

exactly the same as mine, i never had the car overheat completely just some fluid out of the expansion, you will find that it is because the pipe is leaking that it is boiling over, as i said.. i had exactly the same symptoms as you, once i had located the very small leak and bled the system it was fine...
Oh yeah, over filling the header tank causes boiling as well....
