Car doesn't like doing 60mph!
#1
Recently I've found myself having to drive around at approximately 60mph a lot. Not something I'm used to At home motorway cruising speed was 70+, town was way lower, and A/B roads were whatever I could get away with...
In 4th 60mph = about 3000rpm. The car does not seem to like this. I get what feels like hesitation and the car jerks occasionally as if I've come off the gas for a second. Is this because I'm around the range where boost starts/stops? It doesn't happen in other gears or at other speeds as far as I'm aware, and changing to 5th gets me by.
Car is an my00 with my99 ECU...

yeah these model years seem to do it around 3000rpm in 4th if held at this revs for a while, if you have a boost gauge, it will probably show you that bosst is coming on and off.
keep it in 5th if you are doing 60 for a while, you will prob save fuel.

Yep, snap. My MY00 does not like 3000 RPM held in any gear and I have had the same problem with MY00 ECU and the MY99 ECU recently fitted. Characteristic just like clutch judder etc etc I guess!!!
