that brick wall, is the boost cut, which is set in the std ecu, for safety reasons. Too much boost will cause nasty things to happen to your engine. Some people learn the hard way, others spend money wisely tuning theirs to run safely with more boost etc.

I think you should find out why it is overboosting first. Check all hoses to/from turbocharger/wastegate/wastegate solenoid. Has this only started happening recently?? Has any work been done recently?? Once you know why its doing it, then somehting can be done about it.

Easiest way to check if the car has an after market ecu or picggy-back system is to unscrew the passeenger footwell. Have a look to see if the ecu has any stickers ie HKS, APexi etc! There may even be a second box which would make it the piggy back system.
Good luck!

all the pipes have been checked...2/3 times, which pisses me off.
the only mods i have done is a 3" stainless pipe with a 5" back box, dumpvalve and apexi boost guage.
i have cleaned the solenoid and all pipes connecting it 5/6 times with brake cleaner...so it is clean enough, the oil level is between the full and empty mark, i am also running a vf28 turbo, as opposed to the vf23.
what do you think fellas ??
