Razo turbo timer help
#1
UPDATED
hi all, i've read up on several threads describing fitting of turbo timer. I have attached pics of the unit that i would really appreciate some help identifying the connections and functions.
I also plan on replacing my current alarm with a cat1 clifford alarm. Can anyone recommend a unit or tell me the function the alarm needs to be able to work properly with this unit ie so the alarm immobilises when TT has finished cooling the engine.
I gave up trying to get this fitted as i keep being told not to put it on as it interferes with insurance. I wanted to fit this stealthily, inside the ash tray compartment. I have now mounted this inside the coin tray pics to come if anyone wants.
I need to identify the yellow wires and where the sensor goes please!
Where does the heat sensor go? I think thats what it is?
Yellow = connects to other yellow on unit?
Help! Thanks in advance mateys.
OMG! All in japanese! Anyone know what the functions are?
What do the dip switches do?
where do the yellow wires go?

Just noticed you are in harlow next door to me..
Not much help mate but if you buy a clifford concept 600 it has a turbo timer option built in...
Mine came already fitted so not much help,
However, two of my staff are chinese but can read japanese so if you want i can get the jap stuff translated for you.
Can probably fit if i get translation...
On the alarm front, if you dont have any luck by sat i will ask one of the doormen which alarm will support a turbo timer, he fits alarms for a living in hoddesdon and knows his stuff..

Just another thought as i dont know what the front of the display is like it is just a guess, the little switches may be for the minutes that the timer runs for perhaps?
Most other timers are manual adjust by push button but this may be pre set switches instead...

sounds good, big thanks for help, if the hoddesdon guy can sort this out for me even better - id like the translation if you can sort that id be very grateful indeed! I would not be confident fitting it really, including & especially the alarm. i'm not sure if this will fit the my96 loom, it was from an impreza wrx not sure what year though. hmmmm any more help would be amazing thanks.
cheers mr tweenierob, maybe see you on the 12th - harlow meet?

tweenierob if you can tell me what the yellow wires (6th picture down) go i would be thankful! call me on 0772 0714133 if you're bored as im trying to fit it now. will post pics if my batteries charge in time.
i have the harness fitted to the ignition plug
i have the black wire secured to earth
now trying to mount the unit in the coin tray ...
which means moving my immobiliser magnet thingy which is also in there.
im worried this thing will never start again!

Rob thanks for your help
im chuffed, i just switched it off, i locked the doors.
the engine carried on running! just went out to look and its switched off after the interval i set. still not worked all the stuff out. the blue button on the remote shows volts meter on display. some bits on display are japanese! thanks for your advice. the sensor is not fitted yet. and it took ages to get it to work. i set the clock! but it has 3 other modes or something where you set a time for ST1 ST2 and then ST3 ... no idea!
still needs fitting in coin tray properly and the control bit mounting and the sensor mounting.
right! gotta go! seeya and thanks

rob, things arent as good as i thought! I have found i can only get the turbo timer to keep the engine running if i hold the power button down, or like the 1st time, get it to 'stick' in down position. when its like this the engine runs. so if i release the power button it then dies. with the power button down like this, the control box buttons dont work. this maybe something to do woth the yellow wire methinks. any ideas appreciated!

here's an update
rob i disconnected the yellow wires, which i had joined.
there was no live on the yellow wires when its on or off btw
this has not effected the way its operating at all
i also disconnected the grey handbrake wire from the earth.
this makes no difference, i even put a live on it, and still the
unit switches off when the ignition goes off. but i can get unit to stay on if i press the power button afterwards! so this is on permanent live. hmmm any ideas?
