I think (actually guess cos Physics was a long time ago 
) that MPa stands for Mega Pascals and relates in the following way
1 bar = 0.1 MPa
1 PSI = 006895 MPa
Strange way to measure boost.

My MY00 has a full decat exhaust, Tek2 (Tek3 ish) and STi intercooler.....
Runs about 17 PSI...
I have the delta dash software coming to confirm my boost across the RPM range.
