Oil Pressure FIgures and Gauges
#1
Just fitted my Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge and was wondering what kind of psi i should be getting.
1/ When cold tickover and on the move
2/ When hot tickover and on the move
Also the gauge doesnt seem to move smoothly, seems to jerk up and down the scale. Is this correct or is it F****D???. The gauge is an electric one if it helps.
Any help appreciated

I get 100 PSI on start up and tick over until it's warmed up somewhat.
Then at tick over it tends to sit around the 30-50 PSI mark, and shoots up when I rest my foot on the go faster pedal
I've got an electrical autometer one and it seems quite smooth in operation.
