Hi all,
What is the recommended dose of NF Octane boost for a scooby STi 6???
Is too much bad for the car???

Any help appreciated!

1ml per litre should take it up 2 RON, so if you are using UL chuck in about 80ml per Tank full this should take 95RON upto approx 99-100RON. If using SUL use about 40ml.

An STi VI expects to run on 100RON in Japan.

I normally use about 40ml when I fill with approx 35 litres on the average...to take UL upto SUL+ levels.

You can use too much, ie 3 bottles a tank..

Clogs filters as would most things to be honest, use it as directed and you will be fine

Rich, whats your car model and MY?

Also, what is the dosage on the bottle? I was under the impression that its supposed to be 250ml for 80L, which works out to be more than half a bottle per tank.

Hi,

The one I use is Race Formula and you are supposed to use 50ml per 50l, or more for track.

My car is a MY96 UK Turbo (well moddded)

I use about 1.5ml per litre in my 95 WRX. That should be enough to push optimax over the 100 ron.

From what I can remember, according to the bottle it should do you for 6 fill ups if you want an increase of 2RON and as the bottle is 300ml I'd say put 50ml per tank.
This is what I do with Optimax and the car runs well. I have a MY95 WRX. If I'm running with SUL I usually put 100ml in!
