Default Turbo issue

Hi All,

I just changed the oil on my 2005 WRX PPP wagon. I hadn't changed it for about 8,000 miles, which I know is bad. The car is on about 125,000.

I put in 4 litre of castrol edge 5w - 30 and about half a litre of 5w-40 shell (as I didn't have enough 5w-30).

Now i swear the turbo is not pulling as well as it did. It feels like its not giving me the shove at 2,500 - 3,000 revs. Maybe it was like this before I replaced the oil. I know it's bad for the turbo if you don't change the oil.

What can I do to test it it / improve this situation? Engine sounds like it's running ok, and there wasn't any thing suspicious in the old oil.

Thanks in advance,
Nick

10 hot viscosity is going to make no difference it's all in your head I use 10w-60 all year round even though highly modified.
