Question

My car is using quite a lot of oil & im wondering if its the turbo seals??

Would like to know how many people have had to replace their turbos due to seal failure, breakage, whatever, please include mileage if poss.

Cheers in advance.

by using oil what i mean is i've put 4 liters in, in the last 5 weeks & theres not a drop coming out of the engine via any leaks!!!

It smokes a little bit, but nothing excessive.

If you cruise for a while and then boot it - if there is smoke it will be the turbo oil seals.

Mine went - however I had a lot more smoke before it used much oil.

That was at 30k miles - but the wear was probably due to high levels of abuse
