Default Snapped Power Steering belt - Safe to drive to garage?

Hey all

I have a 2007 WRX Hawkeye which, due to my supidity, has suffered a snapped Power Steering belt.
Given that I have zero ideas when it comes to car maintenance, is this safe to drive the 10 mins to my local garage? Is the only thing likely to suffer my arms or is it connected to other stuff that will cause an issue. I believe it is connected to the alternator, since my battery light has come on but I have seen some posts during my research that say it can control other stuff, like the water pump! Don't want to turn this into something more serious!

For those that want a laugh, the reason it is my fault is I have know the belt was worn for a few months, squeals on start-up and when driving sometimes, but was waiting until Jan, in fact this very week it was getting booked in, for it's annual service and a cam-belt change all at once!
Appreciate any advice!

the belt drives the Aletrantor as well as the power steering pump - it does NOT have anything to do with the water pump as that is driven by the actual cambelt

with minimal electronics it "may" last your journey but IMO you'd be better getting a mobile mechanic or whatever to sort as you will also require arms like Popeye to drive it with no assistance
