Looks like I stripped 3rd gear on the TY754 dccd box. I wasnt far from home so cruised home in 4th. Probably a bad move with the shredded gears inside the box.
What are my options assuming I haven't totally ruined bearings and synchros driving back?
change 3/4 and 3 rd on the shafts along with bearings synchros as they were on their way out too.... who would sell such parts?
Or anyone have a TY754 dccd box for sale? Mine is a TY754VB1CA but version 6 type also same afaik.
Dont want a 6 speed conversation.

 

3rd and 4th are the same piece so your probably going to run into trouble. New box I'm afraid.

 

Any one know where to get parts for these? Or have a complete box to sell?

Hello, open the box and see main shaft 3 - 4 gear possible need to change the sybcro and the 3 - 4 gear, secondary shaft very hard to damage.

Thanks for the suggestions.....I split the case and unfortunately both gears are shredded. I'm suspecting theres more damage since the shards went through ths box. Who sells parts for these?

 

Hello... wauu destroy the gear 3...

Need to rebuild your transmission, choise PPG or Albins Gear all are very good part or need to buy the 6 speed but need many other part.

I first rebuild PPG but have small problem sold and choise the Albins Gear very good part... The PPG make many noise, Albins more smooth amd soft.
