Default Bad fuel economy and lumpy on start and stalls until it till gets warm.

Right this is doing my head in ;/ fuel economy is like old US V8, starts up lovely, sits at 1k revs, then try and reverse or move straight after start up then it stalls, until engine temp is up, Engine power is there when applied but sometimes a little hesitation just after it leaves 1k of revs.

I've done the following already..

New plugs, New Fuel Pump, New Fuel Filter, stripped headers and up pipe with new gaskets, New Coolant sensor, Checked all pipes for boost leaks, Had car checked out by mapper, only comment he had was pump was struggling on 6th gear foot down motorway run.
compression test seems ok.
Only thing I've not touched is Fuel pressure reg, which is a Turbosmart version.

Any direction to look would be a blessing......

I'm sorry I don't have answers toward your issues, but maybe you can help me solve mine. What kind of fuel pump and filter did you get for your scooby? I need to change the pump and filter and having a hard time finding one. Thank you

Don't sound the same as yours but I had walm start up issues, I found cracked hoses at the rear drivers side bumper leading to some plastic box thing, changed them and problem was gone
