Question

Just had Tek2 fitted at PE and was told my maf was knackered. It idled fine and didn't show at service on the select monitor or show as an error when i've done an ecu reset.I've seen on another thread that these things either die suddenly and your car will not start or they die gradually giving lower and lower voltages. Now i'm assuming mine was the latter, does this lower voltage cause the car to run lean because this was what i was told was happening. The car is a MY99 with full de-cat and ITG.Also does lean running produce more power on it's own because they measured 250bhp on it before fitting the Tek2!

TIA

You flogged that nasty pink lampshade I swapped you and went back to the ITG then Wonder if the K&N did it.... mine is still OK and I had it on my car for probably about as long as you. The ITG panel is going strong.
