Default Does this downpipe FIT

Ok sorry ask so many questions

I have brought the following for a great price

says it fits my sti 2005 type uk

have my car in bits doing a few things

just measured the pipe it’s 3 inch would it still fit?

am confused any help welcome

Same fitment as the japspeed

so can a 3 inch downpipe mate a standard sized centre section

Standard centre section will be 2.5” and won’t fit that 3” flange. I think I remember seeing someone mention there’s a company does reducers/crossovers. Then there’s the issue of length of existing vs the one you’ve bought.

Just been and measured a 2.5" cat pipe I have and the bolt holes are approx. 10mm dia. on a 105mm PCD

There wont be much of a matching mating face between the two flanges. I roughly cad'd up a 3" and a 2.5" from dims i found online. There's areas at the bolt holes that only have about 1mm matching faces.
