Fuel line to Fuel tank Connector - Broken
Hi,
I had a fuel leak on my 99 RB5 and decided to remove the fuel tank anyway to give it a clean up / check for rust underneath etc ( non suprisingly )
Only issue i ran into was the line that was causing the leak. There are 3 lines running inside the car - 2 with rubber hoses, 1 with the plastic connector.
2 that connected to hoses were fine. The one connecting to the white / brown push in connector was rotten - It snapped while trying to remove with the bottom half of the rust inside the white connector.
Is this part just a connector ( not sure why they wouldnt use clips like the other 2 lines ) or is it a non return valve etc - just trying to figure out if i need to order the part to as a like for like replacement, or can i just link the lines using some fuel pipe and jubilee clips
thnaks
