Default 04 STi Faults with new battery

So.. 04 STi

Battery went dead - fuse went on the trickle charger..

Got new battery in, Car behaves as normal except it wont lock with the keyfob and the stereo does not work.
When starting the car, the A/C is ON by default, this didnt happen before the dead battery.

Any ideas for what I can/should do to fix this?

Cheers

OP says fuse on the trickle charger went. If those are connected to a dead battery, that can blow their fuse. They can also overcharge the battery if they're left on for too long. That can cook and kill a battery. It can also overvolt the car.
Start by checking all the car fuses.
When the battery was replaced, was a device that maintains the car's voltage used? They normally plug into the OBD socket. If so, try a battery disconnect overnight to reboot the systems.
finally, get a battery charger that can be left connected and won't over charge. lidl have one for £14 on special now.
