Clunk of full lock but only when cold
Hi All
I wonder if anyone can help.
I have recently purchased a 65 plate Levorg which I'm very pleased with but when manouvering out of a space with the car on full lock in the morning or end of the day I get a loud clunk from the front. It seems to be impossible to replicate it when cold.
I can obviously take the car into Subaru for them to take a look but will cost me £95 at least and wondered if anyone else had the problem. I can detect a very minor knock from the left side suspension (compared to the right) when going over drain covers and pot holes so it could potentially be a worn suspension part. My concern is the car has only done 20k so surely parts should last longer than this. It could also be CV joint or driveshaft so maybe I should get it looked at whilst under the 5 year drivetrain warranty.
I've looked online and it seems lots of different people experience this over different car brands and some people simply point it towards tyre slippage but I've not experienced it before.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Mark
