Default What model Bosch battery ?

I have an Impreza Hawkeye WRX 2007.

The battery has died on my car. What is the best battery to get?

Halfords want £100 for a crappy Halfords battery for my car.

Ideally want to pick it up today. Bosch is a good option? right?

Do you know anyone with a trade card for halfrauds ? Only they get some good discount on things like car batteries, every little helps and all that.

if going for Bosch. You need an S4 024 BATTERY which is 540A(en)60Ah

Think they go for about £60-£70 at eurocarparts

Any reason against it?

click on that 005 one in the link and enlarge the pic of the battery. Will turn out to be the 024 battery. dunno why its listed as 005. Also if you go on www.carparts4less.com which is also run by eurocarparts the price is less

This is the issue with my car! It did this about 10 days ago, after 10mins of leaving it though it managed to start. Since then I have used to car every day (least twice a day to and from work) Yesterday I didnt use the car at all, so over 36hours with not using it, I think this is 100% the dead battery. Would you agree?

I hate to say this, but I think that you are incorrect, the Internet seems to have a different opinion. The Internet seems to think that a 005 battery is spot on!

Here is my findings.

005 is the correct battery. Some makes will use 3005. The 005 is the important bit. Its a very common battery for jap cars

Really, whats the battery code? I've been disappointed with my last Bosch, but one before was great.
