Default Oil Change

Hi

What oil should I used my 2005 scooby?

Car has 70k on the clock - also would I use a genuine oil filter?

As looking at the previous invoices different oild have been used..with non genuine oil filters.

Also how much oil do I need for a full change?

Thanks

no need to go above 40 unless you're doing a lot of hard driving.

Definitely use a genuine filter. AS Performance should have all that you need in stock. Its been so long since I personally did a change on a subaru i'm not certain but i think 4.5L including the filter.

Remember to prefil the oil filter before fitting it. The filter takes more than just a topup and fit. You have to fill it, let it settle a few minutes, fill it again, let it settle a few minutes and keep doing that til its full.

Thanks Guys..

Had chat with Alan from As performance...after many many years..

He has recommended the 10 50 for the fast road use..

Millers CFS or Millers CFS NT Plus..

NT Plus is about £15 more...

Any thoughts...
