Default Exhaust upgrade????

I own 2006 2:5 sti Hawkeye;original exhaust is on its last legs;any suggestions for best replacement that gives classic scooby rumble I have had from previous 2:0 litre models;I don’t want to get involved in remapping etc just a straight swap(decat??)any advise please;been looking for few years for genome pipe/box but as rare as hens teeth in decent condition

If you want to avoid a remap then forget a decat.

A cat back resonated or de-resonated system is what you need, de--resonated being louder of the 2. I've always had good experiences with the afterburner range from scoobyworld made by Haywood and Scott. De-resonated centre section and vortex back box is an awesome scooby sound.

if you not wanting very loud then look for a prodrive cat back.

Weren't the prodrive exhausts made under licence by cobra?

Pretty sure it was scorpion that manufactured the exhausts/sports cats.
