Exhaust upgrade????
I own 2006 2:5 sti Hawkeye;original exhaust is on its last legs;any suggestions for best replacement that gives classic scooby rumble I have had from previous 2:0 litre models;I don’t want to get involved in remapping etc just a straight swap(decat??)any advise please;been looking for few years for genome pipe/box but as rare as hens teeth in decent condition |
If you want to avoid a remap then forget a decat.
A cat back resonated or de-resonated system is what you need, de--resonated being louder of the 2. I've always had good experiences with the afterburner range from scoobyworld made by Haywood and Scott. if you not wanting very loud then look for a prodrive cat back.

Weren't the prodrive exhausts made under licence by cobra?

Pretty sure it was scorpion that manufactured the exhausts/sports cats.
