My refurbed unit just decided to give up , battery lite on dash , doesn't go out with any amount of revving YET will go out if Rad fans kick in ?!?!?!

Anyhoo I have a 23700 AA230 yet I've seen another 2 pin 23700 AA280 for sale

anyone know if these differences matter ? I'm guessing although it's still a 2 pin it mite be from a later. Laddie and maybe dish out a different Amp ??
