Default Heater / AC / Heater window panel has stopped working

Morning all,

So last week I had an intermittent issue with the above switching on and off sporadically in the fozzy, at the weekend I had parts of the dash out etc and it seemed to settle down. drove the car this morning and its completely stopped. I am thinking its the connector in the back of that part of the panel, but open to suggestions

at the weekend the following was working:-

Fan motor
Fuse
Relay was switching on and off
AC was cold
Heater was warm

Ok it would appear that the connections are all fine as are the fuses and potentially the relay, I am now thinking its the blower motor or resistor. Nightmare!

The UK SG Foresters Auto A/C does not have an external resistor pack for the motor. It is controlled by the main A/C controls, so maybe the FSTi is the same.
If so these may be useful ...........

Don that documentation was excellent and I think that I have possibly located the fault, its potentially the heater relay.

whatever it is it seems to be affected by ambient temp, so last night it was all working, however this morning where it got to nearly 1 degree c over night its stopped, no power to the AC/ Heater control box.

next question, do you or anyone else know the part number for a new relay?

A/C relay appears to be 82501TC000 in the main fuse/relay board under the bonnet or from 2006/04 82501FC100

Blower Fan relay appears to be 82501GA240

located next to drivers side fuse box - top right marked (1) The relay mounting clip is 81910AA150, if needed.

Many thanks Don,

The more I think about it the more I think its the A/C relay 82501TC000 as the malfunction seems to happen when its cold, which is going to have much more affect on the relay in the engine bay and looking at your circuit diagram, if that relay isnt working it looks like the fan relay wont either.

Hopefully if it stays dry I can get a multimeter on the one in he cabin and see if its getting power tonight.
