The PPP will be fitted to my car by tomorrow afternoon and I've been speaking to my nice dealer who has told me that as long as I run the mods past him and keep it sane he'll still cover my warrantee.

I was considering a replacement downpipe. Not too keen on replacing the intake for fear of losing the AFM but will probably throw a drop=in one for good measure.

Any suggestions? Is the DP worth the money and effort?

It's a MY01 by the way.

Would be worth getting your dealer to agree that in writing. Some have appeared to be sympathetic re downpipes and then refused claims at a later date.

Trust a car salesman?

I trust him alright. He's a mate from years back . He's covered 2 lads with the AFM failure due to intake by refitting the original before he called Subaru for the warrantee.

Thanks for the info on the DP. As a matter of interest, did you get the CAT warning light when you replaced the DP?
