Default Indicators not turning off

If I indicate right they cancel as soo. As I straighten up.
turn left and they don’t turn off. Is it a simple fix or does the entire unit need replacing.

Are they just not cancelling on turning sterring wheel, is that what you mean?

if so it's just the tab on the steering wheel boss and then the stalk itself.

Standard wheel fitted or aftermarket one?

Yeah they are not cancelling as I straighten up. Turning right is fine.
standard wheel that I plan to have recovered soon.

Tried on my classic. Dealer price was horrendous, well over £100

Thank you for the replies but what is it I need.
it's a 2005 jdm hawk.
is it worth me considering replacing the whole lot for UK style. - 2 cars and I'm either doing the wipers when needing to indicate or vise versa

That would need an extensive rewire.
