water is the best means of reducing intercooler temps but the system has to be a good deal better than the oem spray system which really only wetts the front part of the intercooler.
A system based on a 12 litre spec c watertank which fixes along the back of the rear seats and a custom boom which sprays across the whole intercooler would work well when the car was on the move but not so much when car is stationary or slow moving, that said , when car picks up speed act's drop like a stone. Only good for road as wouldn't be allowed on track or drag strip.
Most couldn't be bothered but if there's an itch that needs scratching, that's what I did but the fact I couldn't use it as intended, on the strip really killed off my enthusiasm.
