is there much difference between gearbox oil of same price range been reccomended millers nanodrive crx, now gsf do an oil from vetech same 75w90 and then for rear dif id have to get some from carlube with discount i can get this for 29 pound compared to the millers that id have to pay full price for both coming to 75. is the millers really going to be worth the extra 50 pound?

My jdm hatch didn't like Millers; it whined. Motul or Redline are may be better. Cheap oil is cheap oil, you're not comparing like for like

the oil is about 54 quid without the discount millers varies a little depending where you get it from but think i may go for the better oil. been recomended by a well regarded subaru guy so i hope it doesnt cause problems like whining!

Spot on, oils can vary a lot, even though they appear to be the same thing. There are different types of synthetic basestock, different additive packages, variances within the viscosity bands, quality control etc etc etc.

Millers CRS 75w-90 NT is often ideal for some Imprezas, but the Motul Gear 300 can work better, especially in the cars with DCCD.
