Default Spark plug seals gone?

When stripping down my classic this afternoon I noticed that both rocker covers were covered with oil and grime on the lower half, would I be right in thinking that this is the spark plug seals that are gone?

If so, I assume I will need to replace both rocker covers gaskets along with the seals?

Not really, shouldn't get oil out of there.
Looks like it's been cleaned, and he's missed that bit, to me.
Rocker cover seals do go, the worst culprit is driver's side rear.

Thanks alcazar.

Do you think its worth de-greasing and cleaning the engine and engine bay and checking it again in a few weeks?

Also, it looks similar at the top of the driver side, there is a pipe coming off the rocker cover that may be leaking, pic below.

Up to you. Don't get water/degreaser into the plug leads.

MY00 Turbo 2000.

I completely cleaned and degreased the engine and engine bay last week, I have decided to re-torque all the nuts and bolts and keep my eye on it for a few months.

Looks like it could be gasket seals.

The breather pipes are a prime candidate they usually have a wee wire clamp on them. The pipe tends to split over time. The other pipes are your power steering pipes if they were split you'd know.
